Yes, it is possible and easily done.  But bear in mind that
eBay only keeps items in their database for a very short
time, so you only get to see what transections were made
within the last month or so.  Also remember that most
sellers remove their pictures almost immediately after the
close of the auction, and so frequently the pictures do not
show up.

When I want to look for something, I just use the regular
search capability, then when the page with the current
active auctions is displayed, I hit the "Completed Items"
search (it's on the left side of the page, just below the
"Basic Search" area) and I get what auctions were completed
within the past month or so.  This may not give you much
information, especially for items that do not show up on
eBay regularly.
