Hi Zuikos

I have received back some landscapes I shot on Velvia with various Zuiko primes on a tripod. What is the received opinion on how big these can be printed before grain (or whatever) starts to take its toll?

Ron,

I can print 11x14 no problem if the slide has been shot carefully in the manner you describe. I have not tried to go larger in scale than that except once when printing an extraction (cropping) of a slide and it turned out fine. My workflow is all digital after the film: scan the slide with Polaroid SS4000, process a bit in Photoshop, and print with an Epson 1160. I could never get quite as good enlargements in a wet darkroom. Perhaps a pro could.
