First, some pictures from The PT Owner Club "Spring Break Texas":

All of the above taken with Olympus gear.

The "official" photographer at our meets is Dave Nelson. He uses a Sony Mavica,
and he beats me hands down on quantity and speed, but I beat him on night
shots. After all, his camera just has a tiny little flash. You can see his work
at:

Anyway, we were talking last Saturday about spring break, and the official
photographer, <a href ="http://www.killamphotography.com/index.html";>
Killiam</a>. Dave was impressed with their gear. I had noticed that it was
N*kon, bit didn't realize that it was Kodak DCS digital units using F5 bodies.
Dave was impressed with the number of images they could capture in a short
amount of time. When the cars were on the track, they would take a picture of
the car as it went by, swivel and take another of the license plate, and then
come back and repeat it on the next car whizzing by at 90 MPH. Dave would take
one shot, and then have to wait while two more cars passed before he could take
another shot.

So Dave decided it might be time to upgrade, since he's had his Mavica for a
number of years. When he found the price for just the F5 DCS body, he had to
pick his jaw up off the floor. At this point in the conversation, being the
good little enabler that I am, I said "take a look at the Olympus E10 or E20".

Now- if you've managed to wade through the preceding, my question is: how
quickly does the E10/E20 recover and get ready for the next shot? If it has a
burst mode, how many shots will it take at once, and then how long does it take
to save them.

Thanks for your time, Steve Goss, Dallas Tx usa

P.S. Just had to throw this in- My spell checker thinks Mavica should be
spelled "Maniac"
