I don't know if this is a related issue, but I sometimes have the same
problem with my C1400-L. In my case it only happens with specific cards --
i.e. the same two cards everytime. The cards themselves work fine in my
C960Z however. I wonder if, perhaps, quality-control isn't all that anymore
as they are being mass produced in such number leading to some cards not
having the correct or constant voltage? The two cards I have that don't work
in the C1400-L are the cheapest ones I've bought to date, and the same
brand. I dunno, I'm just grasping at straws, but perhaps it's an idea.
