Ice and snow is definite Kodachrome territory. 64 normally, but if you are
going without a tripod, go 200. It will be a bit more grainy.

Other films tend to give a colour cast that make the white not look white.
My opinion anyway.

Overexpose from meter reading one stop. This will make the whites white and
not dull, but still retain detail without washing out.
