My Tamron is 1275 grams, same pattern as the long zooms, where the the
Tokina 150-500/5.6 is smaller and lighter than the Tamron 200-500/5.6.
I have both the 1.4x and 2x Tamron SP teleconverters, but haven't tried
them with this lens.
