Joel,

HeHeHe! You thought I was serious! I don't think that Walt was serious
when he asked the question, and I certainly didn't intend to be serious
in response.

I would agree with you that the 2S is the "best buy" in OM-dom. Walt
already has OM-4/Tis, so a 2S would *really* be superfluous for him. I
have defended the 2S against non-believers in the past.

Seriously, the OM-2 should rank with the Argus C-3, Leica M-3 and Nikon
F as the most significant 35 mm cameras of the twentieth century.

[Off the wall humor begins here]

Two more reasons to own an OM-2:

It also occurred to me that the OM-2 would look "retro" to most people.
Since retro is "in" you would look "in". Wear your "new" OM-2 when you
go to Starbucks. Order a double latte. Carry a book of poetry, or a
novel by Faulkner. Try looking right through people, as if deeply in
thought. Dogs will woof appreciatively at you cats will be fluffy for
you, and women will want you.

Owners of "Wunderbricks" will see the spectacular results from your
"ancient" and "inferior" system. They will smash their Wunderbricks on
the payment in disgust, and take up watercolors, or stained glass. Well
worth the price of admission.

[OTW humor ends here]
