My computer does. And a lot of modern equipment. The front end is a switch
mode power supply, and it can handle a huge range of input voltages.

Having said that, your warning is quite correct. So much equipment has been
destroyed by not checking this.

Usually the switch just reconnects a couple transformer wires
to work with the other voltage - a $1 solution. To work off
both voltages would generally require more parts/money.
