om3 definitively suffers from... very severe battery drain (1 week)... even
when the meter is reputedly not on...
except when you put it on B so that every thing is really shut down... and
since on B, the meter doesn't appear in the finder (when you push  the
trigger halfways nothing happens)... it's just like the off switch of an
om1... just that as usual it was not explained in the manual...
ok even without battery it works... but the pleasant think is to use the
meter... of course...

I never go on trip without batterys... (and when I take the 4 with me...
it's worse...)

so there was definitevely 3 "problems" with the 3
- no ttl flash (solved in the 3ti)
- battery drain (solved in the 3ti... never had the chance to verify)
- and no finder indication of the f/stop... (but as we all do... a little
push on the magic button -depth of field control - and you know what you're
taking  )...

and otherwise... never forget to put you OM3 or 4 on B when you don't use
them...
