A Tamron SP converter that uses the adaptall system can only be used with
adaptall lenses. However, there are also Tamron SP converters that use the
OM mount. I have on seen 2x examples of these. They are excellent
performers, and although usually more expensive that a garden variety 2x,
they are much less expensive than the Oly 2x.
