Ok, this is a long shot - if anyone happens to be in Canada or the
northern US, and it's dark right now and it's also clear and you're also
awake, then have a look outside - there's apparently quite a lot of
auroral activity going on right now.

Solar activity is high at the moment and there's always a chance of more
activity.  You can check on the situation at
http://www.spaceweather.com/ .  There are some great pictures from two
days ago at http://www.spaceweather.com/aurora/gallery_01oct01.html ,
and I notice one was taken with an Olympus camera (not OM sadly).

Hope someone spots the aurorae - it's ALWAYS cloudy in the UK when
there's a show on!
