Actually, I don't think other labs will do SFW film. Don't know if it's a
'won't' or a 'can't' situation.
My understanding is that it is a "can't" SFW film is movie stock and has an
extra coating on the film that has to be removed
Several years ago Qualex setup a line to process it at one of thier
locations. But it cost too for the customers (about $20) and took too long
so a lot of customers would either not pick it up or refuse it. So they
eventually stopped offering the service. John Gettis
