I've just recently started using Portra 160NC myself and LOVE the
results.  Skin tones, contrast, saturation are perfect for people and
portraiture.
 
It scans a bit flat on my evil Olympus ES10S, but that could very well
be the ES10 demons.  The film prints beautifully.

        I'm anxious to see the photographic results.  I have my first
roll of Portra
        160NC in the refer, awaiting use.  I'll probably get a roll of
400NC as well,
