Less than £200 for a 16/3.5??!! Wow! Where can I sign up. I think I paid
$6-700 from KEH for a LN example a couple of years ago. And they still go
for $450+ on Ebay. Even £265 is VERY low, IMHO. I'd grab that one as soon
as I could pick up the phone.

BTW, I see some Americans (like me) using GBR instead of the £ symbol. If
you use a PC, you can hold the Alt key down and type 0163 on the keypad for
this symbol. It's easy and much less confusing than GBr.

Ah-ha,the generous tempter! Actually, there is a shop in the UK with
more than one for sale, with prices ranging between GBP 265 and 325
($370-455). This is probably reasonable, but I should be able to get
one for less than GBP200 if I wait patiently enough.

Just don't let Tom send you his 16mm to play around with. It's much
harder to pretend after that :) It's a fantastic little lens! Hopefully
now that I've found gainful employment in beautiful Los Alamos, New
Mexico, I might eventually be able to afford one :)

Thanks for putting me right Chip. I was interested in 16mm lenses
suddenly as there was one for sale in Amateur Photographer last week
=2E.. but it had gone when I called :<(. I'll have to pretend not to
be interested until the next opportunity.
I blame the Texans (Gary E and TScales) for tempting me some weeks ago
;-).
