They do that frequently to drum up business.  I have had two cameras CLA'd 
there.  One was an OM-1 I asked to have modified to use 1.5v batteries.  It 
was returned with no modification.  Second was an OM-2.  The newly installed 
meter failed three weeks after it was returned.
