I thought of that for a while too, but it wasn't really cold. A
little chilly somedays, maybe down to +15 degrees celcius. But is the
4T really _that_ sensitive? The air was somewhat "salty", though,

John, reading this I remembered that I was able to provoke the
erratic behaviour by putting a pressure on the bottomplate. I could
even turn the camera On and Off like that. It showed that the screws
actually needed tightening, especially the one close to the battery
compartment. Havn't had the problem since I tightened them (ehr...
yesterday.) Thanks.

Took it in to my local service guy fearing the worst - turned out it need a
quick cleaning - cost me $15 Cnd ($10US) and it has worked a treat ever
since. Tech told me all it needed was a quick flush and it was back to
normal so he cut the "normal" min rate to time spent.
Very positive! Hope that's it and no spare parts has to be bought. I
turned the camera in for a major CLA today. Will cost about $140.
