With current rebates, the Polaroid Sprintscan 4000 is down
to $699! This is virtually half the price it was selling
for about 9 months ago.

I have to say, a decent film scanner was one of my best investments. I
really love having a (ok, cliche) digital darkroom. Paired with a good
inkjet, I can do almost anything. I know you can have them scanned
elsewhere, but the control is amazing.
