An easier method might be to place the camera gear inside a cedar-lined
chest, like a blanket or hope chest. I've often wondered whether this might
not help keep down fungus also. Aromatic cedar is very insect and rot
resistant, hence its common use as chest linings for long-term storage of
wool.

any I'll try to put the body inside a house being 'tented' for termites.
I've read that if you have antique furniture that might have bugs (wood
worms?) in it you put it inside the tenting house. The gas they fill the
house tent with kills all bugs, but since its a gas I don't think it leaves
any residues. Seems likely that it would get thoroughly inside a body with
the front and back open...
