Dear Dave or Malcolm,

I remember the day very clearly as one often does at that moment in life
when something memorable occurs.

About six years ago while accompanying my daughter on a shopping trip my eye
caught a display of used cameras in a little shop on Jackson St in San
Francisco. Having coveting a OM1 since 1972 I could'nt resist buying a
pristine OM2n black body with a 50/1.8. The next day I was back and bought
a 75/150.

The disease lay dormant with the exception of a mild flare up over the next
two years and then flared up and was out of control after I entered the
wonderful time of "retirement" and then discovered eBay. From then on it
was a downward spiral with UPS, FEDEX and the USPS making regular stops at
my doorstep.

I stumbled upon the list and was by this time like a bleary eyed drunk
falling into the Midnight Mission. Chris O'Neill began counseling me
through his 12 step Zuikoholism Program. He asked me for a list of what I
had and said like you that I should "wrap each piece carefully" and send
them to him to be cured of this addiction and getting the monkey off my
back.

Off went my Olympus M-1, OM3t, OM4t, 180mm f2.8, 8mm f2.8, 18mm f3.5, 24mm
f3.5 Shift, 90mm f2Macro, 250mm f2 and 350mm f2.8. He allowed me to keep
my original OM2n and 50mm f1.8. I seemed to be cured for awhile, but the
yearnings are starting to creep back. When it gets too bad I'll "wrap each
piece carefully" and send them to you.

Thank you for your help,

Martin
