I recently bought an OM-2n for near nothing. It is cosmetically nice, but
the shutter won't operate. The mirror is down and one can focus through the
viewfinder. The meter is reacting to light. I have installed new batteries.
Still no shutter release. I note that there is a position on the "Manual",
On, Auto" switch that says "Reset-Check". Obviously this is there to reset
the camera if the batteries are removed or are drained. Lacking an
instruction manual for this body I have no way to know the correct procedure.
So, someone advise me, please.
I am pretty sure the body is in need of repair, but it would be cool if it is
simply a matter of resetting it as I paid only $25.00 for it.
