Hmm, My guess: It is because of the extension you use for macro shooting.
The touble with digital-back`s occur when you use wide angle lenses.
The angle with the OM-maco-systems are between 20 ~ 9 degree`s.
So this might avoid the angle-trouble with digital back`s.
