Sorry, I didn't recognize the whole thread. so my answer only treated
control of the normal perspective. But in my german version of Photoimpact 5
there is a tool called "Krümmen". The translation may be "to bend" or "to
curve". This tool with a narrow grid (you can choose it) may help you to
bend the fishey-perspective to rectangular. I just tried it with a picture I
altered with a spheric filter. It is no easy job for the first time, but you
can save it as a macro.
