I agree, I think this is all misconstrued, but not for the reasons you state.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with doing a search of all bids won/lost by
a user, eBay openly offers that information. There's no tracking or stalking
going on here, the original poster merely summarised what any of us could
have obtain by doing an eBay bidder search. How can that possibly be considerd
an invasion of privacy? If people don't like their buying habits to be
publicly visibly, then I suggest they don't use a public forum to do their
shopping.
