And I just acquired a 35 -105/3.5 - 4.5, with what LOOKS like two VERY tiny 
fungus blooms SOMEWHERE inside the front element (they turn with it).  
Otherwise lens is pristine.  Same question as Scott poses above: Is it worth 
it to try to clean this lens?  Is it possible (for an amateur who is pretty 
mechanically inclined, but not a trained lens tech) to disassemble & clean 
(assuming it's not a fungus bloom BETWEEN elements)?
