I paid $40 for mine because it needed the aperature blades cleaned. Paid the
additional $30 to have that done, and the lens has been perfect since.
(mechanically and cosmetically) Adds up to $70. Brian still beats me at $60 :)
The one at $54 has been smacked, and has a ding that causes the focusing
mechanism to bind. $54 is kind of high for that.
