The  whole design "feature" of the A1L is that the battery should be good
for up to 5 years of use.  If LED goes out quickly, that's good, indicates
battery is good.  You are not meant to replace it and it requires soldering
skills.  You'd have to get the battery from an electronics parts supply
house.
