C.H.Ling had some comments for my mail, thanks
but:

"Photo CD is not that bad, I heard it is optimized to view at TV, when
Kodak first introduced it they have some Photo CD players to go with,
expected people will enjoy the print with the player on TV. If you
want to make good quality print you have to adjust the gamma value and
may also need some level adjustment."

Indeed, several years I worked with it, but the quality of Photo CD made by
KODAK in Stuttgart the last years is going down and down. I don´t know the
english translation, so I say it in German: Die Schatten saufen ab und die
Lichter fressen aus (someone able to translate?). So it is a real, easy
visible lack of information on the CD compared with the film.

"Can't catch you meaning, we are talking about your scanning resolution
is overkilled. A 25MB file should be good enough for A4 inkjet print."

You are right again. I mentioned in a proceeding mail, that I use this size
for printing 30x40cm.

Greetings
Jochen
