Thank you for sharing your story.  It brought back a lot of fond memories of
my dad who bought me my OM-2n in 1981 and years later an OM-4t.  My dad also
was enthusiastic about anything that caught my interest.  He always went out
of his way for me.  Then he got sick and we sort of reversed rolls as his
world slowly grew smaller.  Then I lost him.  My OM-2n quit the same year.
Now four years later I sent it to John Hermanson recently who restored its
life and I have an old friend back.  A treasured gift from my best friend.
Unfortunately I can't bring him back.
