I love mine. The 870/1270 actually has more vivid prints, at the expensive
of the archival qualities of the 2000. Originally, though the 1270 was
supposed to have 25 year life, and it still does with the matte paper (matte
doesn't fade). The matte, however, doesn't jump out at you like the glossy.
Mine was in the mid-300s, so it's not quite $500.
