Another book featuring OM gear ... and possibly Zuiko images ...... is
the recently published three part autobiography of Sir Chris Bonnington.
The front jacket cover has a three quarter length photo of Bonnington
outfitted in high altitude mountain clothing and glasses against a
mountain background with what looks like a black OM4 hanging round his
neck. The photos looks as if was shot on location. Without a loupe to
check the name on the camera I cannot be certain it was an OM4 but the
colour and shape of the camera and the positioning of the white
lettering looked to be virtually identical to an OM4 / OM4T.

Given the recent discussion about the battery drain issue with OM4s and
the effect of low temperatures on the camera batteries I am curious
about Bonnington's seeming connection with OM cameras and whether he was
using off the shelf or specially modified OM cameras on his mountain
expeditions.
