I got mine on Ebay at 5am this morning. Man my story is boring
compared to you guys!!!
Again, my friend is looking to buy a Canon Elan 7E with some sort of
eye focus. Whatever. I remember my friend's minolta maxxum not
working on our trip to Death Valley, and so I started looking for a
fully manual camera.
That brought me to the Leica R6.2. I love that thing! (Hey, it's a
leica, what's not to like?) But as I logged onto B&H's website and
had to call for an ambulance when I saw the price tag... I asked the
question "Is there a small, compact 35mm that is of Leica quality and
not so leica priced?" After all the research, 1 came up. OM-1. So
I read up on it, and discovered the Zuikoholics...
Boring story huh? No Kim the yearbook editor (I liked the story!),
no trying to defend the world against the likes of the would-be
Nikonians who are trying to take over the earth.. Just read up and
purchased.
