OK, I got my new 'ebay' IS-3 in the mail. I think I know why I got it
cheap. Doesn't seem to actually work. Course, I don't have a book, so I'm
lost.
I put in a new set of Varta batteries (why in the heck did they use these
weird, expensive batteries? -- rechargeable AAs make more sense).
I set the date (that seems to work).
I turned it on and the zoom worked, briefly. Zoomed in and out and stuck
out.
When I open the back and close it, the auto load seems to make noises.
I haven't tried film in it yet.
Am I doing something obvious wrong?
