If you don't mind your OM1 reading too high with fresh batteries and too
low a little later on (is that the right way around?) - alkalines decay
steadily, putting out less and less power while silvers put out a steady
rate and then die suddenly, just like mercuries usta.
A little slip I found in an XA display box said that alkalines (i.e. LR44)
OR silvers could be used in the OM10 and Recordata backs 2 and 3. However,
the OM2 and XA can ONLY use silvers (SR44, EPX-76, G13). Generally
speaking, the silvers are better in anything.
