I don't own one in the Nikon mount. It's pretty clear that the Nikon layout
was a LOT more influential in the layout of the OM2000 than any OM camera
was because the OM2000 is very similar to a cheap FM2.

I don't know about the 35-70/3.5-4.8. I've heard it's a floater.  But I
don't subscribe to the original implications about the OM2000, which I have
found to be a useful, even likable, camera.  But then I tolerate Nikons (and
Cosina).
