I agree with both of you.

Like Dirk I would prefer that the list puts the sender's email address
in the "reply to:" field, to prevent unwanted replies to the whole
list where only a private answer is intended. But if I remember well,
this was impossible for the list software... (like with the
un*subsc*ribe issue...)

Like Volkart I use the delete button for everything unwanted (almost
everything, these days). I can afford receiving and deleting this way,
because I have unlimited  access to the internet - but for people who
have to pay per minute for their connection it is quite different.

I have put "subject: [OM][OT]" in my killfilter, but it doesn't help
against messages from people who forget to use [OT] or, like with this
message, who put something between [OM] and [OT] ;-)

Although I would hate having to do so, I am afraid that I will have to
un*subscribe in the near future, if the weak Olympus-related signal
does not win over the strong automotive, ballistic and US political
noise...

I am even considering to open a separate and more 'globally' oriented
channel, where non-Olympus-related traffic would simply be prohibited.
