Just a thought-- I think at this point, we should establish a 'working 
definition' of the term "Multi-Coated Lens". Technically, any lens that has
more than ONE coating is "multi- coated".
Of course, operationally, the term has come to be applied to various coating 
standards and layers and ingredients.

P.S. have you heard about the guy on the Nikon list who is try to find out if 
someone knows a method to completely remove the lens coatings?
