[OM] What film should I use?

I know, this question keeps getting rehashed occasionally, but I'm just
starting on a career as a volunteer photographer for my church, and just want
to get some reassurance before I stock up on film.
I'll mostly be shooting people, mostly candids, or informal. I'd like to do
some of it without a flash. (*see note below) The main contenders at this
point are Kodak Royal Gold 400 asa, or Fuji NPH (also 400asa). I'm leaning
towards Kodak because of the nice comments it has received here, but the Fuji
is a strong contender, mainly because of its significantly lower price. I'm
pretty sure that both films will do the job, but I'm wondering if Royal Gold is
really that much better than NPH.
Of course, all the cameras will be Olympus.
Your thoughts, as always, will be enlightening.

* The shutter makes enough of a disturbance, without adding the pop of a
flash. I remember using Tri-X indoors in high school with an old range finder
camera. With my much faster lenses on an OM, it should be even easier. Of
course, I didn't have to worry about color casts with black and white. The
newsletter editor has photoshop, though, so we can probably tweak the colors
back.
