Hi all,
other than using an archaic Sony Mavico dodgy camera, what would the group
suggest as a start up kit for someone contemplating a fiddle with digital.
I have 2 pc's a 580Mhz pentium 3 running Linux (redhat), no usb however, it
won't work under NT so we don't buy them at work.
I have a sony notebook Vaio running 89, (or is that 98), with Office etc,
that does have usb ...
Printers I have a canon bjc85, and a hp690c, both of which would be useless
I guess.
I want to be able to just point and shoot pictures, in high definition only,
i.e snapshots (6x4 to 10x8), a few e-mailers (qxl ebay etc).
What do I need to scan negs dia-positives etc?. what printer, and what
camera, budget limited !!!!!...
