Hans,

I have just about all the available Pen F/FT literature available. If you want to do a page on them, I'd be happy to help.

There is a fine Viewfinder Pen book that was just published by John Foster in the UK http://members.xoom.com/maitani_fan/pen_research.html, but no Pen F/FT book. I have heard that he's considering working on one though. The need is not as great for the Pen F/FT cameras, as there the line was pretty well documented and straightforward. OTOH, the viewfinder models's production volumes and line lineage were not well known.

These are my Pen F/FT links. Some have already been posted: Look here: http://www.skipwilliams.com/olympus/non_om.htm.

This morning I launched a mirror site of the e-SIF at RedRival.
You may wish to bookmark its url, in case Xoom let's us down again
(currently the problems seem to be solved - Xoom feels faster than before -
at least on my UPC/cHELLo cable modem).

http://redrival.com/omsif/om-sif.htm

It contains a complete copy of the e-SIF, and parts of my portfolio (20Mb
disk limit).
I believe the RedRival server is fast and reliable, but unfortunately its
FTP access currently is completely underpowered, making it almost
impossible to upload files (this morning was my first successful connect in
one week).
So if these problems remain the mirror won't be updated as often as the
master on Xoom. Stay tuned for future updates which will include the
promised lens cross section diagrams, and I'm also thinking about adding an
Olympus Camera History Synopsis Page to put the OM line in its historical
perspective.

Btw, are there more sites that cover the Pen F System, besides Stephen
Gandy's Camera Quest?
