Welcome to the list!

A couple of things with the OM-2S - first, make sure you have film in the
camera when doing these tests - otherwise at the low speeds metering will be
done off the pressure plate which will result in longer exposures due to the
lower reflectivity of the plate. This sounds like it might explain what you
are experiencing - the affect becomes less as shutter speeds get faster.

If you have film in the camera, the next thing I would try is some *fresh*
357 cells. While your symptoms aren't typical of a low battery problem, I'd
still be suspicious.

If you do need to get it checked out, I would recommend Camtech in New York,
at www.zuiko.com.

Best of luck with your OM-2S. It's one of my favorite OM's!
