I'm ambivalent on this one. The lower half of the case does provide some
grip for those of us who don't use a motordrive (or take our photos at a
comparable rate). I like the feel of the lower part of the case, it's nicer
than bare metal, especially in Winter. If you're racing around with 3 bodies
about your neck and shooting film like your life depends on it, then I can
understand a lack of interest in either the mint resale value or the modest
gain in comfort. Horses for courses again, I guess.
