When I wrote 'alternatives', I meant alternatives *for* the self-timer.
That's what the question I tried to answer was about - the selftimer does
its job nicely, but with a 12 sec. delay, which can be quite cumbersome when
you're trying to macro photograph undead objects with a will to move on
their own ;)
