I took mine from next to the English pub; I think the place wasn't too bad.
The crowds are more of a problem - in order to have a good shooting position
you should be there at least an hour in advance. If you're interested in
some of the results you can have a look at the fireworks section in what is
the beginnings of my gallery (really just started this to have a reason to
practice with my new ScanWit - color correction can be quite a challenge
with some shots on print film, just like contrast with some on slide film)
