May 1985 is the earliest published "first mentioned" date I am aware
of. It was in a user review in Peterson's Photographic Magazine review.
The first Olympus literature date I have is August 1985 in the USA
Dealers Price List, but the list for the previous six months (missing in
my files) probably had an "available in XX-1985" date. Frank's citation
is for the final October 1985 edition of the Olympus OM System Lens
Handbook.
