Mike,

I also own a QS-35, having just bought it used.  I use it exclusively (OM
content alert) to scan the images from my OM shots. That's the whole reason
for owning it.  But, I'm not sure I'm using it well, as the scans are
sometimes blurry and the grain shows horribly.  Also, does Vuescan support
the QS?  Feel free to take this offlist, if you think it's too off topic.
