Tom,
That's a fair but not cheap price if it is really in good shape. Check KEH
lately on that lens. I think EX and up is consistently over $400. I am very
happy with mine. It is very much a system lens. There are other zooms,
especially in the 70-210 and 80-200 range, which are faster and as sharp I
am sure, but this lens really seems like it is designed for Oly, plus from
200 to 250 seems like its most excellent range, and that's where the lens
is kind of unique. Very swelte and long, 2 touch design (which I really
prefer). It took me weeks to figure out how to redesign my camera bag to
accommodate this lens because of its length, but that was so I could take
it everywhere, which I do. Wonderful lens for deliberate, tripod-mounted
landscape work. My 135 and 200 have been relegated to the shelf for
special-occasion use only.
