When I was searching my old fotomags for Zuiko-test, I came across a lot of
tests / reports covering other Olympus things including the OM707. Among
them was a comparison of OM707, Nikon F-501 and Minolta 7000.
The 7000 and the OM707 really look similar, but the technical data as
published in this test shows many differences between both including things
like sice and weight.
I believe they are both examples of a typical mid 80's modern camera design,
but otherwise independent from each other. I have never handeled a
Minolta7000 and the OM707 only briefly, so I may be wrong here.
What I'd like to know, is if the AF-system of the OM707 was developed by
Olympus or based on Minolta patents.
