Keppler wrote an article about other sources of vibration (Modern
Photography, Dec. 1984). They include Diaphragm Connector, Diaphragm,
=====================

seems you could test whether it is the shutter or diaphragm by holding
down the stop-down button on the lens before firing the shutter on
an Om-1.

generally vibrations from shutter, mirror, or diaphragm are only
an issue at speeds from 1 second to 1/60 of a second, and
especially at 1/2 to 1/30. at faster speeds, the vibrations don't
have time ot get started before the exposure is over, and at slower
speeds, they have been damped quickly enough relative to the length
of exposure that they don't register on-film.

I'm curious, at your film speed and lighting, what is the shutter
speed you use for your tests when shooting at f/2 or f/2.8?
