Last time I spelt it properly earned accusations of being a Tory and
sympathizer to the Crown. Wouldn't be able to afford that next Zuiko if my
crops get burned by an unruly mob dressed up like natives <g>.

Actually I agree about needing to leave the glass case and get used. Let
the glass case types have their heart attacks. Been chided a couple times
to quit using my Contax and put it in a museum where it belongs. They need
to be used; part of a real appreciation for them is experiential. What
made them legendary was their capability (in the right hands) to produce
photographs. Without continuing to do so, it loses its "raison d'etre."
Not certain I would refinish mine, the leather on it is in near mint
condition, and I'm happy with how it looks. I'm much more worried about it
working perfectly than whether it is lightly brassed or shows wear marks in
a couple places. Gives it a little character and proves it has been (and
gets) used. Same with the guitars. Too bad not many of them get played.
What made them famous was their sound.
