Joseph -

Perhaps we aren't talking about the same lens, but the
Zuiko 135/4.5 does have helicoid focusing, and is
designed to focus to infinity at minimum extension of
the telescopic auto tube. It also doesn't go all the
way to 1:2 on the telescopic auto tube, its more like
1:3 with the tube at maximum extension and the
helicoid at closest focus.
